Our History

New Hope began in 1999 with the desire to love God and each other. We wanted to be a church that lived out teachings of Jesus Christ and provided hope. Without a building, we gathered together at Fidalgo Elementary School for our initial years. During this time, New Hope continued to grow and we began to build New Hope’s very own place for church services and bible studies on an empty plot of land. As soon as we had a roof, we were doing Sunday services. Our building wasn’t complete, but the spirit of Jesus was already there. Now New Hope can be found in Anacortes, Washington as a church of about one hundred members.
